About Us:
Duo are already involved in interesting prestigious projects for example HS2 rail link and turnkey multi-million pound projects in the quarrying sector for our blue chip clients. New diverse and challenging projects are in our work pipeline from Summer 2025 and we are seeking talented, enthusiastic quantity surveying personnel who want to apply their knowledge and progress professionally in their chosen profession.
We have recently commenced a new project located in Avonmouth port Bristol, which involves the construction of an entire cement storage and distribution facility, on which Duo Group are the Principal Contractor. We are actively building our site team with the necessary skill and talent to progress this complex and interesting multi-million pound project. You will be working with a great team of people, based primarily on the project.
Key responsibilities;
Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting on the project.
Completion of accurate Cash flow, Monthly CVR and cost management forecasting.
Management of Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and monthly measures
Carrying out and agreeing monthly valuations with the client
Attendance at client and internal business meetings
Working as part of a team on site to ensure commercial and contractual processes are followed
Maintain a professional working relationship with the client and Project team
Presenting and agreeing variations, valuations with the client.
Skills and Experience;
QS degree qualified
Minimum of 1 year Y3 placement experience in a QS role- preferred
Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of commercial monthly reporting
Excellent time management skills with ability to work to tight deadlines
Experience with NEC/JCT forms of Contract desirable
Member of RICS or other relevant professional body is desirable
Clean driving license
Pay and benefits;
Starting salary of £30,000 to £35,000 pa - depending on experience
