About the Role:
Paragon Home Healthcareis seeking carers for12-hour shiftsto join our dedicated team supporting afemale clientin her specially adapted home inBexhill on Sea (TN39). The client hascerebral palsy,epilepsy,scoliosis, andlearning disability. Her home isequippedwith hoists andaccessible bathto meet her daily needs.
During the day, she requires two carers and enjoys dailyoutingsin her accessible vehicle andrelies on her care teamto provide the support she needs. At night,a sleeping carerwill be on hand to assist thewaking nightcarer as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of acompassionateteam that works closely with her and her family, ensuring her routine and activities areengagingand fulfilling.
With this client, you'll be engaged in a Rota of3-5 or more shiftsa week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota,working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we providecomprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

Job Type:Day and waking night shifts
Shift Pattern:Day 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Night 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Pay Rate:
* Weekday (Day): £15.29/hr
* Weekends (Day or Night): £18.35/hr
* Waking Nights (any day): £18.35/hr
Location:Bexhill on Sea - TN39
Driver: Essential Carer must be aconfident driverwithcleandriver's licenceand happy to help with regular community outings.

What Were Looking For:
Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).We welcome applications from female carers who are kind, dependable and confident supporting someone in their own home. You dont need spinal injury experience just a willingness to learn, a common-sense approach and the ability to follow the clients lead.
Training & Support:
Paragon is aspecialist providerof spinal cord injury and complex care. Youll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.

* Assist clients with activities of daily living.
* Ensure the client's safety.
* Maintain client confidentiality.

* Arrange transportation for client appointments.
