Database Developer
Location: London, UK - Hybrid Working

My client is a leading Regulatory Body professional services organisation, who are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join their growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and management of their data warehouse and data lake environments, supporting critical reporting and analytics capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working closely with the data and BI analysis team to design, develop and maintain reporting and analytical solutions
* Identifying and resolving data issues, managing the database aspects of the reporting and analytics platforms
* Collaborating with database administrators to ensure optimal data warehouse performance
* Developing and refining reporting and analytical requirements with business analysts and project managers
* Ensuring data warehouse designs align with IT strategies and architectural frameworks
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience as a Database Developer or BI Developer, with a strong focus on data platform support and analytics
* Proficiency in query languages like T-SQL, XML, DAX, MDX, PowerShell, and PL/SQL
* Proven expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and BI tools like Power BI, Power Pivot, and SSRS
* Experience in data warehousing, ETL, data modelling, and data orchestration
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related STEM subject
Desired Skills and Experience
