Staff Nurse – Pre Admission role at Ramsay Health Care UK (Pinehill Hospital). Full Time – 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
* Undertake pre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialties.
* Ensure patients are prepared physically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure, provide appropriate information, and identify potential discharge concerns.
* Act as a role model for junior staff and student nurses.
* Be an accountable practitioner, sustaining and improving knowledge and professional competence.
* Provide support to the PAC Lead in effectively leading and managing the PAC department.
What You’ll Bring With You
* Registered with the NMC.
* Proven ability to work in a team or independently as required.
* Ability to use own initiative and take charge of the PAC department or deputise for the PAC Sister in their absence.
* Flexible and committed to maintaining and improving patient experience; able to adapt to change as the service develops.
* Enthusiastic with a positive attitude at work.
* Knowledge and compliance with Ramsay Policies and CQC Standards.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs.
* Demonstrated customer service skills and computer skills.
