Roofing Engineer (Reactive & Planned Maintenance)
Location: Various sites across the UK
Employment Type: Full-Time, PAYE
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM (including travel time)
About the Role
We are working with a respected building services contractor who are seeking an experienced and proactive Roofing Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role covers both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with schedules.

Diagnose and repair technical and mechanical faults efficiently.
*
Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards.
*
Liaise closely with clients and colleagues to support smooth operational delivery.
*
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance practices.
Requirements
*
Proven experience in a roofing, maintenance, or engineering role.
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
*
Knowledge of both reactive and planned maintenance practices.
*
Ability to work independently, managing workload effectively.
*
Relevant trade or technical qualifications (preferred but not essential).
*
Full UK driving licence.
