General Sales Manager – Vertu Mercedes-Benz of Ascot
Are you a proven automotive sales leader with a passion for developing people and driving performance? Mercedes-Benz of Ascot is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead our high-performing team and deliver exceptional results for one of the UK’s most prestigious brands. This role offers a £47,500 basic salary, OTE £72,500 plus company car.
You’ll be responsible for leading, coaching, and inspiring a team of around 14 including Sales Executives, Advisors, Managers and Support functions.
Your focus will be on:
* People leadership: creating a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.
* Coaching and development: empowering your team to exceed targets and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
* Strategic sales management: driving volume and profitability while maintaining operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
* Current Sales Manager with a strong track record in a main dealer environment.
* A natural leader who is structured, driven, and passionate about developing others.
* Proven ability to inspire and coach teams to deliver outstanding results.
* Experience in achieving volume and profit objectives in a competitive, customer‑centric setting.
* Experience in Mercedes‑Benz or a premium brand would be advantageous.
