Tele-Truck Driver (Timber Yard)

Pay Rate: From £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
The role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Tele-Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established timber yard team.
This role is ideally suited to candidates with timber yard or builders’ merchant experience, rather than construction site telehandler operators. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
* Operating a tele-truck to move timber and building materials around the yard
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Supporting general yard duties when required
* Assisting with stock organisation and storage
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
* Previous tele-truck or telehandler experience essential
* Timber yard or builders’ merchant experience preferred
* Valid licence/certification to operate telehandler machinery
* Strong awareness of health and safety practices
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to worko work as part of a team
