💰 £41,700 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
This is a newly created leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape and drive a 3-year income generation strategy. You will play a central role in securing sustainable funding to support both core services and future growth.
Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will lead on developing new income streams, strengthening existing funding relationships, and building a compelling case for investment that resonates with a wide range of supporters.
This role is ideal for an experienced fundraising professional who thrives in a strategic yet hands-on environment and is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
1. Develop and deliver a 3-year income generation strategy focused on sustainable and multi-year funding
2. Identify, research, and cultivate new funding opportunities
3. Manage and oversee the full fundraising pipeline
4. Support strategic relationships with statutory bodies, including NHS/ICBs and local authorities
5. Report progress and insights to the CEO and Board of Trustees
Fundraising Delivery
Develop and grow income streams including trusts & foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, and community fundraising
Lead on funding applications and bids
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders and partners
Collaborate on joint funding opportunities and partnerships
Stewardship & Reporting
Oversee funder stewardship and engagement
Ensure high-quality reporting, meeting all funder requirements and deadlines
Develop impactful communications to demonstrate outcomes and value
Finance & Planning
Contribute to organisational budgeting and financial forecasting
Develop accurate budgets for funding applications
Provide updates on funding performance and pipeline
Operational Excellence
* Improve internal systems and processes to support fundraising activity
* Manage CRM systems and ensure accurate data tracking
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and organisational policies
* Work collaboratively across a small, dynamic team
About You
We are looking for a proactive and strategic fundraising leader with:
1. Proven experience in developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies
2. A strong track record of securing income across multiple streams
3. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
4. The ability to create compelling funding propositions and narratives
5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
6. Experience working within or alongside the charity sector
You will be both strategic and hands-on, with the drive to grow income and the ability to translate ideas into tangible funding opportunities.
