Capgemini UK is seeking an exceptional leader to join as Director, Cloud Strategist – TMTS. Our TMTS market unit covers the Telco, Media, Services and Technology sectors. In this senior role, you will lead the strategic direction and growth of cloud within our TMTS market unit across the UK.
Working as part of the Cloud Center of Excellence, you will collaborate closely with TMTS sector leaders to drive large deals involving cloud technologies, including transformation, application modernization, platform engineering, data & AI, and datacenter exit strategies.
This role requires a C-Suite influencer with proven experience in deal shaping, pitching, and negotiation at executive levels, as well as responding to RFx tenders within the TMTS sector.
Hybrid working: Your work location will vary based on role, needs, and business requirements, combining company offices, client sites, and home working, but not exclusively remote.
Post-offer, you will undergo pre-employment checks including identity, immigration status, employment history, and criminal record checks.
Your Role
1. Build relationships with CxO clients, partners, and advisors in TMTS sectors.
2. Grow the cloud business aligned with UK strategic plans.
3. Lead large cloud-driven transformational deals across industries and clients.
4. Understand client needs and develop tailored propositions.
5. Achieve KPIs such as sales bookings, deal shaping, client engagement, and solution quality.
6. Develop opportunities within Capgemini to secure cloud-based deals.
7. Create industry-relevant cloud sales propositions and strategies.
Your Skills and Experience
1. Deep understanding of at least one TMTS sector, preferably multiple, with knowledge of business and technology transformation.
2. Ability to influence and close strategic opportunities.
3. Techno-functional expertise in modern solution architectures.
4. Experience in solution or technical sales, with a track record of closing profitable deals.
5. Experience handling RFPs and advisor-led processes.
6. Knowledge of market dynamics, including operating model transformation and cloud solutions.
7. Experience navigating large matrix organizations.
