About the Team

Our environmental consultancy services span numerous disciplines and sectors, drawing on a broad knowledge base. This approach enables us to deliver practical strategies for studying, protecting, enhancing, and restoring the natural environment.


Recruitment for the following services and locations

* Air Quality – London, Basingstoke, Birmingham or Exeter
* Landscape Architecture – London, Exeter, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, or Edinburgh
* Cultural Heritage – London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Glasgow


Typical Projects

* Air Quality framework and GLA Air Quality Filters project
* Air dispersion modelling, monitoring, environmental impact assessments and regulatory permitting
* Sizewell Power Station fieldwork surveys
* Landscape Architecture projects including active travel plans, HS2 Rail, renewable energy, public realm design and pedestrianisation schemes


Roles by Service


Air Quality

Day‑to‑day activities include:

* Hands‑on experience with dispersion modelling tools such as ADMS and ADMS‑Roads
* Designing and implementing ambient air quality monitoring plans
* Contributing to bid submissions, quotes and tenders
* Collaborating with clients, project teams and local authorities
* Data collation, in‑depth analysis and comprehensive reporting


Landscape Architecture

Day‑to‑day activities include:

* Provision of technical input for projects as directed by senior managers
* Written and graphic input to strategic studies and regulatory reports
* Design development from feasibility to detailed design, soft and hard landscape detailing and specification
* Use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite


Cultural Heritage

Day‑to‑day activities include:

* Analysis of historic maps and site visits to scheduled monuments
* Preparing heritage baselines for reports and GIS mapping
* Supporting archaeological desk‑based assessments and heritage statements


Graduate Development Programme and Future Progression

We provide a two‑year programme designed to support personal and professional development through core business and professional training, career workshops, mentoring and support for chartered or incorporated status.


Application Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree relevant to the role. The selection process includes an online skill enabler assessment and an application form. Preferred dates for start are April or September 2026. Enthusiasm for creativity, numerical skills, data analysis with Excel/GIS, and willingness to travel to sites not accessible by public transport are required.
