Client
VANRATH are delighted to be working with our client in North Belfast who currently require an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This role is initially being recruited to assist with an increase in workload and will have the opportunity to become a permanent post.
Reporting to the Transactional Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of aged debt. Candidates with excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be tasked with maintaining long standing customer relationships, while bringing on new customers.

5. 3+ years' experience within credit control function
6. Experience of managing time effectively

Responsibilities
As a Credit Controller, you will:
8. Oversee a specific portion of the debt ledger for one or more companies.
9. Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payments.
10. Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters
11. Liaise with sales to ensure smooth running of customer accounts
12. Monitor credit limits
13. Assist in month-end closure process
14. Provide cover for colleagues as needed (Sick/Holiday)
15. Implementing changes within company's credit control system
16. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and drive excellence
