Installation Technician Warehouse Automation

Were partnering with a global warehouse automation business to recruit an Installation Technician for a highly mobile, field-based role supporting projects across Germany and wider EMEA.
This position involves significant international and national travel, so its ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working on large-scale automation installations at customer sites.
The role
* Install, assemble, and wire warehouse automation systems on-site
* Commission systems and carry out functional and safety testing
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
* Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards
* Complete installation reports, QA records, and documentation
* Provide on-site updates and basic operator training to customers
Travel requirement
1. Frequent travel across Germany (primary focus)
2. Regular international travel across EMEA
3. Occasional short-notice or urgent site visits
