The Creative Industries School at Kingston College is seeking a Curriculum Manager - Creative Arts to lead and manage the curriculum area and be an active member of the School Management Group (SMG).
The Curriculum Manager and other SMG members are responsible for effectively applying College procedures such as target-setting and progress review calendars, and ensuring all curriculum delivery is of high quality. You will drive growth, manage curriculum changes as required, ensure compliance with funding body regulations, and act as a Safeguarding Officer for the School, specifically at the Creative Industries Centre site.
The role requires a professional commitment to being a highly competent user of key College systems and thorough knowledge of College policies and procedures.
As our Curriculum Manager, you should hold a degree or equivalent in an applicable subject and a management qualification (or be willing to work towards one). Recognized as an effective teacher, you will hold a teaching qualification and have a proven track record of managing and improving high-quality curricula.
With sound knowledge of the curriculum offered in the section and a firm understanding of current and upcoming national changes, you will demonstrate effective curriculum development and growth, along with leadership and management skills and experience in curriculum and staff management.
The successful candidate will be eligible for any salary increase resulting from the annual cost of living review, to be implemented in the new academic year.
