As a Facilities Administrator, you'll be a vital part of our Health, Safety and Facilities team, helping to ensure our accommodation, office, and commercial properties meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
In this dynamic role, you'll take the lead on coordinating maintenance work, sourcing reliable contractors, and ensuring all health and safety requirements are met across our sites. Your attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities will help keep our environments running smoothly and safely for both staff and clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact behind the scenes, supporting the day-to-day operations that enable our frontline services to thrive.
Responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with the Facilities team and service managers to coordinate maintenance work within agreed timescales.
2. Maintaining an up-to-date register of approved contractors, including collecting and managing key documentation such as insurance certificates, references, method statements, and risk assessments.
3. Communicating effectively with service staff and contractors to ensure repairs are carried out promptly.
4. Ensuring all relevant records and databases are accurately updated and maintained to support smooth operations.
5. Undertaking other duties broadly in line with the key responsibilities above.
