As a Shift Manager, You’ll Be Responsible For
* Leading from the front and being hands‑on, working on the line and in the dining area
* Supporting the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries while providing an above‑and‑beyond experience for your team and customers
* Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our values – Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done and Integrity
* Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience – dealing with complaints promptly in an open and honest way
* Ensuring each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of your shift management
What You Bring to the Table
* At least 1 year of management experience in a similar role within a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment
* Obsessed with the guest experience and a track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, engagement and positive reviews
* Financial responsibility – understanding basics of running a profitable shift, managing crew breaks, minimising food waste and deploying the team during rushes
* Leadership skills – a natural motivator who enjoys being hands‑on and knows how to get the best out of the crew during a busy service
* Operational excellence – good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards and the ability to enforce them on the line
* Flexibility – available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
