Main Purpose of Role
To operate AOI systems (Machine and terminal) in order to inspect all automated inspected products in line with business needs.
Outcomes of Role
Achieve 100% conformity to IPC-610 standards for all visually inspected PCB’s
Ensure zero defects from the AI department.
Ensure containment of all non-conforming products.
Responsibilities
* Operate A.O.I machinery to inspect all AI products and to standards which achieve efficiency targets.
* Manually inspect PCBs.
* Book PCBs onto internal systems once inspection is completed.
* Feedback quality issues to relevant personnel.
* Cross train on other A.I Machinery to provide flexibility within the department as required.
* Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
* Any other duties deemed necessary.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment in production/quality.
Previous experience in Electrical/Electronic manufacturing will be a distinct advantage.
Adequate numeracy and literacy skills
Good PC skills
Full training provided.
Hours of work are:
Shift A: 5.48am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday
Shift B: 1.48pm until 11pm Monday to Thursday and 1.48pm until 6pm Friday
