This busy city-centre venue serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks and supper with a strong focus on Scottish produce, cooked fresh and served with flair. Whether it ' s a sunny terrace lunch, a private party, or a bustling brunch service, the kitchen thrives on quality, creativity, and pace. What You'll Do: Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen Lead and motivate the team, especially during peak service Deliver fresh, seasonal food to a high standard - consistently Help plan and deliver private dining and events Maintain kitchen standards and compliance procedures Bring energy, reliability and a proactive attitude to every shift What We're Looking For: We ' re after a committed and skilled Sous Chef who ' s ready to make a real impact. You ' ll ideally have: Strong experience in a fresh food kitchen, preferably high volume or fast-paced environments A cool head under pressure and the ability to lead by example during service A genuine passion for seasonal produce and creating well-executed, honest food Excellent communication and people skills - you know how to get the best from your team Solid organisational ability - from stock and prep to supporting rotas and compliance A hands-on, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the business A collaborative mindset - you're a team player who understands that service is a team effort This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a future Head Chef role or develop their leadership skills within a positive, respected kitchen.
