As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our savoury section in our bakery kitchen.
You will be mostly responsible for the preparation and service of our sandwiches and savoury bakes as well as menu items for our sister company Good Girl Greengrocer
This position is ideal for individuals who are starting out in hospitality and are looking for the next step in their career.
Duties
* Preparation of our savoury menu dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients.
* Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and ensuring all food is stored correctly.
* Collaborate with front of house team and bakery team to ensure efficient workflow.
* Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly.
* Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting wastage to management.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.80-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
