The vacancy
We are seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team; you will be responsible for maintaining our company’s hardware and networks both on prem (multi-site) and cloud (Azure). You will be required to be in the office one day per week combined with homeworking. You may also need to travel occasionally between our sites. This is a hands-on technical role ensuring that the quality and reliability of IT systems are maintained to a high standard delivering against SLA’s aligned with ITIL 4 Framework. You will have substantial experience in a fast-paced environment along with: VMWare – build, configuration and support. Microsoft suite – Azure, Office 365, Intune. Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SCCM. Veeam. Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi and SD-WAN, routers, switches & firewalls. Microsoft Servers design deploy and management. PowerShell and Azure Identity Management. Experience of supporting and maintaining systems / infrastructure and applications. Supporting teams delivering IT services and supplier management experience. Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines. Ability to make decisions related to the support of mission critical applications. Maintaining excellent working relationships with external and internal contacts. The ability to talk and explain solutions and issues at all levels. Being a logical thinker, highly data rational and pragmatic. Demonstratable experience of leading on projects or programs of work. Qualifications to a Degree level education, preferably in IT / IS systems and applications or equivalent through relevant training and/or experience (minimum 5 years). MCP, MCSA, CCENT, CCNA and ITIL v4 foundation. If you have the required skills and experience for this exciting new role, then we would love to hear from you!
