We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting clients to live safely, comfortably, and independently in familiar surroundings.
Live-in care involves residing in the client's home and providing ongoing support with daily living, companionship, and personal care. The ideal candidate will be kind, reliable, respectful of privacy, and committed to delivering exceptional care. Prior experience in home care, dementia care, or supporting vulnerable adults is highly desirable, though full training and ongoing support will be provided.
All positions are paid roles and require a proactive, flexible, and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personalised care and support, including assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
* Supporting clients with daily routines while promoting independence and dignity
* Administering medication in line with care plans and maintaining accurate records
* Providing companionship and emotional support, including engaging clients in meaningful activities
* Supporting individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's, following agreed care strategies and behaviour support plans
* Preparing nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements and preferences
* Assisting with light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
* Accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, or community activities where required
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes in health or behaviour promptly
* Responding appropriately to emergencies and following established procedures
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in live-in care, home care, or supporting vulnerable adults is desirable
* Knowledge or experience of dementia, Alzheimer's, or complex care needs is advantageous
* Ability to follow care plans, medication instructions, and professional guidelines
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
* Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily living tasks
* Right to work in the UK (essential)
