Summary
We are seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our team in delivering exceptional care and support to young people in our facilities located in the UK. This role is vital in fostering a safe and nurturing environment that aligns with our commitment to the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to young people in daily activities and personal development.
* Assist in the creation and implementation of individual care plans.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
* Support educational activities and encourage participation.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience
* Proven experience working with children or young people in a care setting.
* Strong knowledge of childcare principles and practices.
* Ability to develop and implement care plans effectively.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with young people, families, and colleagues.
* A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
* IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes are advantageous.
* Level 3 or 5 qualification in residential childcare (not essential as training can be provided)

Ability to commute/relocate:
* Cambridge CB4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
