About
We are seeking a dedicated Scientific Service Engineer to join a leading analytical testing laboratory. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of laboratory instruments and facilities.
Responsibilities
* Perform technical maintenance on analytical equipment including GC, GC-FID, GCxGC, GC-MS, and HPLC.
* Diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and support instrument calibration and verification.
* Coordinate with external service providers and internal teams.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or relevant Scientific Discipline.
* Experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments in an analytical lab.
* Knowledge of GxP, ISO, and UKAS accreditation standards.
* Organized, self-motivated, with strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage external contractors and collaborate across departments.
