Position: Senior Pensions Administrator
Location: Royal Mail, Pond Street, Sheffield (S98 6HR) – hybrid working with Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the office.
Employment Type: Permanent, full time.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the Team Leader with effective planning and oversight of casework, ensuring benefits information is accurate and delivered on time.
* Reviewing and validating pension calculations, authorising member record updates and approving benefits going into payment.
* Providing expert technical guidance on Plan rules and statutory requirements, including emerging legislative changes.
* Taking responsibility for complex and non‑standard cases while coaching colleagues to build confidence and capability.
* Acting as an escalation point for member queries and complaints within your functional area.
* Championing and driving improvements to our pensions administration operating model, helping transform the member experience.
* Ensuring compliance with pensions business processes, safe systems of work, and addressing errors to prevent recurrence.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Pensions Administrator or Senior Pensions Administrator.
* Working knowledge of pensions legislation and the wider statutory framework.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong numeracy, planning, and organisational skills.
* Experience working to demanding timescales in a commercial environment.
* Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues.
* A professional pensions qualification (desirable).
