This isn't a figurehead role. It's for someone who loves:
Coaching a team on the shop floor in the morning,
Sitting with the MD to shape strategy in the afternoon, and
Closing a key account in between.
You'll:
* Build and run a modern sales machine - Trade, Retail, and Telesales.
* Set pace, KPIs, and simple processes that really stick.
* Lead by example on new business and account management.
* Protect margins like they're your own.
* Help rebrand a Manufacturing arm already supplying majors like Travis Perkins.
You are:
* A sales leader with a coaching style (not a clipboard manager).
* Experienced in transformation: culture, process, results.
* Commercially sharp, margin-focused, data-aware.
* Omnichannel-savvy (trade/retail/telesales; e-comm awareness).
* From any sector — horticulture knowledge is a bonus, not a must.
