Overview
Join to apply for the Plant Operator role at MWH Treatment. We are looking for Plant operators for Oswestry on the United Utilities framework on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for process monitoring of the new plant
* Daily monitoring of the process operating parameters (MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analyses, sludge thickener performance, sludge, chemicals)
* Daily monitoring of equipment (oxidation ditch (inducers, blowers, instruments, ferric, caustic, sludge thickeners, etc))
* Monitoring of analysers, recalibration of instruments, ordering of reagents
* Adjustment of process parameters to maintain performance
* Reporting to Advance Plus process commissioning engineer
* Consultation with client, suppliers and Advance Plus process team
* Regular meetings with UU re progress, performance, etc
* Daily logs
* Ordering of chemicals as required (including ferric, caustic, poly, reagents, cuvettes for sampling analyses)
* Taking deliveries of chemicals
* Assisting Advance Plus team with shutdowns, access, etc
