Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and teaching, with a focus on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to enhance their academic skills and confidence.
Duties
* Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
* Develop customised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning goals.
* Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote understanding of subject matter.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
* Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for development.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles.
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students, especially those requiring special education assistance.
Experience
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting.
* Experience working with children, demonstrating an ability to connect with young learners effectively.
* Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interaction with students and their families.
