We are seeking a locum GP who to join us for three months in the first instance. This will be from early September 2026 and we are ideally looking for someone who can deliver sessions towards the end of the working week.
We are a friendly, training practice located between Perth and Edinburgh on the shores of Loch Leven. While Edinburgh and Glasgow are very easily reached, we have a range of good local schools and housing.
We are looking to welcome a new colleague who will complement our current team of 8 GP Partners (~6 FTE 8 sessions/week), 2 practice nurses and senior HCA, serving our 9700 patients.
We strive to offer our patients the best care we can and are supported in this with excellent practice nurses and a senior HCA.
In addition to GMS services, we offer LARC, minor surgery and joint injections.
We are a training practice with ST1 and ST2 currently and undertake regular weekly teaching of medical students from St Andrews University.
We have monthly frailty MDTs with the wider primary care and palliative care teams and play an active role in our Cluster and HSCP, and with QI projects.
We have purpose-built modern facilities shared with multiple AHPs including First Contact Physio, Community Care and Treatment Team, Occupational Therapy, Community Nursing Team, Health Visitors, Pharmacotherapy, Midwives and the Community Mental Health Team.
We also have an excellent and well-established community advice hub on-site with multiple organisations providing outreach programmes.
