Junior Sales Support Executive (Maternity Cover)

Description
ROLE PURPOSE
This junior role supports our Sales Support Team in the sales cycle. You will be involved in the whole order processing cycle: from quoting/order placing to invoicing, from a transactional point of view. In addition, you will help manage order processing within agreed lead times and by taking a proactive approach to the process.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage all order entry activities for global operations. Activities include, but are not limited to:
* Obtain customer order management and system input
* Obtain Approvals for order placement, stock, price, and credit release
* Handle order inquiries and follow-up
* Maintain customer contact
* Advance payment lines
* Maintaining Customer directories
* Responsible for order date management
* Ensure compliance with JSOX for the sales admin processes
* Any other tasks as required to ensure the effective operation of the role and the whole department
* Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues
* Frequent interaction with the Commercial Manager and Operations Team to agree on stock allocation and customer orders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Education Level: General Level of good education including Maths and English
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Computer Literacy: email management
* Willingness and ability to develop and maintain relevant product & software knowledge.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and numeric skills
* Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Advantageous but not necessary:
* Computer Literacy Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
* Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
