Children & Families Advanced Practitioner (Locum)
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Rate: £42.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced and driven Advanced Practitioner to join the Children & Families Team in Stroud. This is an excellent locum opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality services and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people across Gloucestershire.
About the Role
You will manage a protected caseload of complex cases, working with children and families facing challenging circumstances. Alongside direct practice, you will support quality improvement, promote best practice, and contribute to strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage complex and high-risk cases
* Lead on quality assurance and practice improvement
* Support colleagues and contribute to team development
* Work closely with multi-agency partners
* Ensure all children are seen face-to-face
Working Arrangements:
* Office-based 3 days per week (full attendance during duty week)
* More office presence initially to support team cohesion
* Flexible approach to support work-life balance
* Laptop and smartphone provided
