We are looking for an Electronic Installations Designer to join our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of on‑car and off‑car electrical and electronic system installations.
Closing date: 1st May 2026.
Responsibilities
* Design electrical installations, including harness routing and packaging of electronic components.
* Contribute to the design of electrical harnesses and associated components.
* Generate technical documentation to support harness manufacture, car assembly, car operation and updates.
* Support development of off‑car systems, internal test facilities and rigs.
* Resolve electronic system faults.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in an engineering subject or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in electrical installation design, ideally using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
* Proficiency with electrical schematic design packages, for example, Zuken E3 or VeSys Electrical.
* Good understanding of electrical components, systems and their integration.
* Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
* Clear and concise communication.
* Self‑motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
