SEN Teaching Partner – Empower Young Minds
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 (pro rata, depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
About the RoleWe are seeking apassionate, proactive, and dedicated SEN Teaching Partner to join our inclusive and nurturing schoolmunity. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with EHCPs
2. Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans
3. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
4. Support pupils with personal care needs, where required
5. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support
6. Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
What We’re Looking For
7. Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
8. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual pupils
11. Relevant qualifications (, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
