We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious people who will be working under our skilled chefs. We run a busy traditional country inn. You will be part of a team of 4 chefs working in a busy kitchen ensuring that all food is prepared to the high standards that customers expect. The ideal candidates will work well under pressure and have a passion for creating dishes. You will be shown all the skills and supported by our team. You need to be able to work well on your own and also as part of a team. Our team of experienced and dedicated chefs, fronted by proprietor Jeremy White, create and deliver the highest quality of dishes using locally sourced ingredients in line with seasonal availability. We change different dishes on our menu daily depending on what our local suppliers have to offer, so please see our website for sample menus. The role will include: Assisting in all areas of kitchen, stock rotation, cleaning, food preparation. Levels of an apprenticeship Each apprenticeship has a level and an equivalent education level. You can start an apprenticeship at any level. At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent education level. For example, if you complete a level 3 apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent of an A level.
