Job Title: DevOps / Systems Engineer

Remuneration: £700 per day (via Umbrella Company)

Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented professional with extensive Azure expertise to help us enhance and govern our cloud environments. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Azure landing zones, adhering to cloud architecture principles.
Configure and optimize hub-and-spoke network topologies for seamless connectivity.
Implement secure connectivity patterns, including VPN Gateways, VNETs, UDRs, and routing.
Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules and pipelines.
Enhance cloud governance with Azure-native security controls, policies, and frameworks.
Collaborate with security, data, and platform teams to deliver scalable and maintainable cloud solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Azure Landing Zone Competency:
Strong grasp of shared services and governance within landing zone architecture.
Experience with hub-and-spoke VNET topology, VPN Gateway configuration, VNETs, UDRs, and routing.
Infrastructure as Code:
Proven experience using Terraform to deploy and manage Azure resources.
Security Focus:
Knowledge of Azure-native security tools, including Azure Firewall, Azure Policy, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
Ability to embed security-by-design principles across cloud deployments.
Desirable Experience (Bonus):
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or other cloud-based data platforms.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
