To develop skills and functional knowledge to respond to and manage the end-to-end bid process for Finance, People First and iTrent tenders. Principle responsibility is to develop or use existing skills, knowledge and experience required to manage and be responsible for the entire end to end bid process. As well as managing tenders across our product line it is expected this role will be the team finance champion within the team. Responsibilities include: Identifying advertised business opportunities across our product range opportunities (e.g. via Tracker) Obtaining all documents in relation to a bid Input to bid / no bid review decision Attend client meetings (supplier days, feedback, kick-off etc.) Attend and coordinate meetings with relevant individuals throughout the process e.g. kick off Identify commercial implications within a bid and communicate as necessary Generate and distribute win themes and proposal plans Assist and inform the development of the method statement Allocate the bid and ensure responses are received in a timely manner Answer functional and standard business responses and delegate requirements where applicable to ensure workload is managed effectively Collate responses Review bid for compliance in responses and submission format Submit bid Ensure all information in relation to the bid are stored securely To implement, review and maintain best practice bid procedures throughout the bid lifecycle in line with MHR guidelines within the bid team and wider business where applicable. Review current and new processes and identify ideas for improvement and change. Manage Qvidian with a strong focus on creating a robust finance knowledge stack including updates, ensuring all finance content is relevant and verified with product managers and finance team including presales. Ensure the presentation of all bids are in line with compliance, corporate branding and are finished to a high standard. Any other tasks as required by the Senior Bid Manager / Bid Team Manager Skills: Excellent level of written English and business writing skills High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to listen and remain calm under pressure; with flexibility to meet deadlines, whatever the challenges Preferred experience in a successful sale, procurement, bid function (or similar). Able to evidence consistently meeting deadlines. Has the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities. Must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
