Senior Platform Architect
A global financial markets infrastructure firm is hiring a Senior Platform Architect to help shape the evolution of a high-profile, business-critical platform. Paying up to 110k per annum plus bonus and benefits you will be based out of their City of London offices 3 days a week (two days remote).
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business engagement, playing a key role in moving a Legacy estate toward a modern, cloud-native platform.
The Role
* Define and govern architecture across a globally distributed engineering function
* Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and fit-for-purpose
* Work closely with engineers to guide modern design and development practices
* Engage senior stakeholders across technology and business
* Translate complex technical decisions into clear, commercial outcomes
Technology Environment
* Backend: TypeScript/C#
* Frontend: JavaScript/React
* Cloud: AWS (containers, serverless, broader ecosystem)
