Are you a commercially minded, data driven individual who is passionate about simplifying complexity and inventing on behalf of customers? Would you like to engage directly with C-level executives, IT professionals, and influencers at all levels to help assess and understand the business value, ROI, and financial benefits of migrating and modernizing infrastructure or applications to AWS? Are you a builder who has a thirst for knowledge and is equally adept at solving complex commercial problems and presenting a compelling C-level presentation to a prospective customer? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon in Korea as a key technology platform provider? AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in information technology and is looking for world-class candidates to join AWS Migration & Modernization Team as a Sr. Infrastructure Modernization Sales Specialist in Korea. You will play a key role in accelerating the Cloud Migration & Modernization journey for these customers. You will identify opportunities to adoption of AWS Cloud with these customers and develop repeatable strategies to modernize customer’s IT infrastructure. You will communicate the modernization proposition for AWS cloud to a broad audience of IT, business & finance leaders at AWS. You will work with partners and other groups within AWS to give customers the best insights into how to run their applications on AWS cloud, in the most cost-effective manner.


Responsibilities

* Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Legacy Infrastructure to AWS Migration & Modernization.
* Meet or exceed the assigned sales revenue targets.
* Generate Business Case and execute sales engagement for Infrastructure Modernization.
* Defines, builds and deploys sales campaigns & programs to migrate and modernize on-premise, virtualized or other cloud infrastructures to AWS environments.
* Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how AWS Modernization can help address and resolve customer issues.
* Manage business with the senior management regarding progress for strategic initiatives.
* Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 12+ years of Server or Virtualization related pre-sales, sales engineering or consulting experience.
* Solid understanding of Enterprise IT Infrastructure & Applications Architecture environments.
* Prior experience working with senior IT executives, IT vendors and cloud service providers to analyze implementation options for on-premise, virtualized and cloud infrastructures.
* Exploration of pain points through assessment, analysis of before/after transformation, and suggestion of alternatives to legacy infrastructure services.
* Excellent visualization and documentation skills to create slides for C-level audiences.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with selling virtualization solutions like VMware, Windows, RedHat, or Nutanix.
* Experience with private & public cloud services.
