We're looking for a Kitchen Manager to join an exciting new independent restaurant backed by a fanatastic people lead Restaurant group opening in East London this April. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on process, consistency, and standards, while still being passionate about quality ingredients and thoughtful sourcing.
The Concept
This is a guest experience–led restaurant from a growing independent hospitality group that genuinely cares about sustainability, learning, and doing things properly. The food is menu-driven, ingredient-led, with a strong interest in artisanal produce and sustainable suppliers.
The Role
As Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you'll be the backbone of the kitchen operation — making sure everything runs smoothly, consistently, and safely.
You'll be:
Leading a small, dedicated team of line chefs
Ensuring menus are executed accurately and consistently
Working closely with the Executive Chef and Operations HQ (opportunity to travel and learn processes before opening)
Managing stock control, ordering, and wastage
Owning rotas, labour control, and team organisation
Ensuring full compliance across H&S, food safety, and allergens
Supporting training, standards, and kitchen culture
This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and being a calm, reliable presence in the kitchen.

About You
An experienced Kitchen Manager / Senior Sous / Head Chef–level operator
Confident with process, systems, and menu compliance
Strong knowledge of H&S, allergens, stock, and rotas
Passionate about artisanal produce and responsible sourcing
A supportive leader who enjoys developing a small, tight-knit team
