The Role
You will take full responsibility for leading, coaching and performance-managing the sales and marketing function.
This role is about:
Setting clear commercial direction
Driving accountability across the sales team
Building structure around forecasting and CRM
Converting pipeline into profitable revenue
You’ll operate at both strategic and operational levels — defining growth plans while actively supporting key deals and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a cohesive sales and marketing strategy aligned to growth objectives
Lead, coach and performance-manage internal and external sales team members
Set clear KPIs and hold the team accountable to targets
Drive new business development and protect key account relationships
Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
Instil forecasting discipline, pipeline management and CRM accuracy
Lead marketing campaigns, digital strategy, exhibitions and brand development
Align closely with operations, finance and procurement to ensure delivery and margin control
Monitor ROI on marketing spend and report on commercial performance
About You

You will likely have:
Proven experience leading and developing a sales team
A background in manufacturing or engineering
A track record of driving revenue growth and improving performance metrics
Strong CRM and forecasting experience
The ability to balance strategy with hands-on deal support
A structured, disciplined approach to pipeline management
High commercial awareness and margin focus
