We’re currently looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead operations at our Basingstoke site someone who thrives on performance, people management, and driving continuous improvement.
The Role
As Bodyshop Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring operational efficiency, repair quality, and an outstanding customer experience. You’ll lead a skilled team, manage workflow, and play a key role in delivering commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
14. Lead and manage daily operations of the bodyshop
15. Motivate and support a team of technicians, estimators, and administrators
16. Drive performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
17. Ensure repair quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards
18. Manage customer relationships and resolve issues professionally
19. Liaise with insurers, suppliers, and internal departments
20. Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
21. Stay current with evolving repair methods and technologies
What We’re Looking For
22. Proven experience in a bodyshop management or senior leadership role
23. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
24. Solid understanding of accident repair processes and workshop operations
25. Commercial mindset with the ability to manage budgets and boost profitability
26. Preferably with VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) or workshop control experience
27. Comfortable using management systems and performance reporting tools
28. Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach
