Our Manchester office is seeking a Sustainability and Carbon Team Leader with extensive experience in embedding sustainability into large infrastructure projects and corporate strategies, capable of providing team/line management.

Our team advises on decarbonisation, Net Zero Roadmaps, Whole Life Carbon Assessments, Sustainability Assessments, TCFD, and Carbon Accountancy, across sectors like energy, water, transport, airports, and government.

Key Responsibilities
* Leading on carbon, sustainability, and net zero initiatives for infrastructure projects and clients.
* Developing innovative sustainability strategies and management plans.
* Managing sustainability inputs on projects.
* Representing the company externally and building reputation.
* Supporting bid proposals and maintaining win themes.
* Leading and supporting the Manchester/Northern team of specialists.
Requirements
* Degree in environmental/engineering discipline; chartered status with a relevant professional body.
* Experience in carbon accounting, decarbonisation, sustainability assessments, and related fields.
* Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of UK sustainability and carbon standards in infrastructure and corporate reporting.
* Leadership skills to support and develop team members.
