Full-time; Fixed-term until 30th November 2028
We are seeking an exceptional academic to conduct research in the area of behavioural medicine with a focus in physical activity and cancer care. The post is most suitable for someone with experience of mixed methods research. Applicants must have experience of working as an academic researcher and possess strong organisational skills. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with patients from a range of backgrounds. You will have excellent research paper/report writing skills. The post holder will contribute towards an externally funded project and will also be encouraged to explore their own research interests. There will be an expectation that the candidate will contribute 10% of their time towards teaching related activities and will be encouraged work towards gaining an externally funded fellowship award.
This full-time post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 36 months in the first instance.
