We are looking to appoint highly motivated, experienced nurse to join our friendly teams on Juniper & Laburnum wards, to assist & support the Ward Managers in providing a high quality service for our patients. The successful candidates will provide leadership & expertise to the ward, working collaboratively with members of the MDT.
The role of the Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse requires an individual who has a genuine passion for delivering high standards of of clinical care & who are driven to provide leadership within a supportive & proactive environment. Candidates need to be flexible as the post includes internal rotation to nights & weekends.
Laburnum & Juniper are acute medical wards which pride themselves in managing patients with complex needs.

Main duties of the job
To deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager in assisting & providing leadership to the Ward Teams in delivering a high standard of care
Developing & maintaining clinical skills & knowledge necessary to provide person centred evidence based care.
Work in collaboration across all professional boundaries promoting effective relationships.
Ensure compliance within our clinical governance framework, motivating colleagues, championing service user safety and driving for continuous improvement
