About Us:
We are working with a truly extraordinary primary school. The school is looking for a Lower KS2 LSA for an ASAP start. The role entails working as a classroom teaching assistant across Years 3 and 4 in the mornings and then providing 1:1 support in the afternoons in a Year 4 class. If you would like to work in a strong, happy, family atmosphere as a Lower KS2 LSA, then this is the school for you! As a Lower KS2 LSA, you will be required to provide both 1:1 and group support to children with varying SEN. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a Lower KS2 LSA
Supporting young children with SEN
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working in a Primary School
Understanding of supporting pupils within Key Stage 2
Experience working with children with SEN
