Overview
We're looking for a hands-on, highly organised Technical Operations Coordinator to help deliver and maintain our souvenir photography systems across the UK and Ireland's leading visitor attractions and theme parks. Based at our HQ in Poole (Holton Heath), you'll balance time in the office and warehouse with time on the road — planning installs, preparing equipment, supporting on-site setups, and keeping systems running smoothly with ongoing repairs and maintenance.
Most of the time you'll be working alongside our experienced team, but you'll also take the lead on smaller installs or maintenance visits where independence and problem-solving are key. This is a varied role that mixes logistics, coordination, and hands-on technical work — perfect for someone who enjoys being organised, practical, and on the move.
What You'll Be Doing
Your days will be a mix of:
* Managing inventory within our warehouse
* Procurement of new equipment, and supplier communications
* Planning and preparing equipment for installs
* Supporting on-site setups and occasionally leading smaller installs alone
* Visiting sites to carry out general repairs and maintenance
* Coordinating with our in-house IT team, suppliers, and subcontractors (e.g., electricians)
In short: you'll make sure our installs and systems are delivered on time, set up correctly, and up-keep to ensure its running smoothly.
Who are you?
You're naturally organised, detail-driven, and practical. You're comfortable with technology & photography (basic photography, networking and IT skills are preferred, but not essential), physically able to work with equipment, and confident communicating with teams, suppliers, and clients. You don't need formal qualifications or prior industry experience — what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, pride in getting things done right, and a keen eye for a good quality photo
You'll also need a full, clean driver's license (minimum of 3 years), flexibility to travel across the UK and Ireland (including some weekends with time off in lieu), and an openness to company-funded training (health & safety, manual handling, working at height).
What's in It for You
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow. You'll be part of a fast-moving company where ideas, energy, and execution matter. Expect:
* Be part of an exciting and fun team that are rapidly growing
* Access to some seriously cool tech
* A salary between £28,000 to £32,000 based on experience
* Travel expenses paid
* A mix of office, warehouse, and field-based work
* Clear opportunities to progress into leadership or project management roles as the business grows
* Company-funded training and development
* 6-month fixed term contract with opportunity to move into a full-time contract
* Time off in lieu for weekend work, plus your birthday off each year
Interested?
If you're motivated by seeing plans turn into reality — from first prep to final install — and you like the idea of working across sites, teams, and systems, we'd love to hear from you.
