Overview
We have a resourcing requirement for a senior SAP Payroll Solution Lead to join a brownfield conversion program.
Context: is driving a massive, global HR Transformation for a big Pharma customer in the UK, converting their legacy SAP ECC Time and Payroll solutions to a new SAP HCM for S/4HANA landscape. Time and Absence processes are simultaneously moving to Workday. We are currently executing the Poland wave, and are now mobilizing for the upcoming Belgium and France Conversion and Migration wave. Due to an extension of scope in the Poland phase, our current Solution Lead is retained, and we need a net-new heavy-hitter to lead the BE/FR wave.
Role: Solution Lead (Architect + SME + Tester)
This is not a standard functional configuration role. This profile is a hybrid between a SolutionArchitect and a deep SAP Payroll Subject Matter Expert. They will be the ultimate design authority for the BE/FR SAP S/4HANA payroll build, but still, when time permits, be hands-on in testing or documentation creation.
Responsibilities and Required Skills
* Architectural Authority: Deep expertise in SAP Payroll (ideally with specific localization knowledge for Belgium and/or France). Must understand S/4HANA architecture and brownfield conversion impacts.
* Integration Governance: Strong understanding of inbound/outbound integrations. They must be able to define with the customer the SAP S/4HANA target structures (IDocs, APIs) for complex middleware (SAP BTP) and Workday integrations. Liase with customer and third parties on transformation logic required. Work with ABAP developers to explain the required logic.
* Defect and Technical Triage: Ability to lead root-cause analysis across complex multi-system landscapes (Workday -> BTP -> SAP) and forcefully direct functional/ABAP teams.
* Client Management: Experience acting as the senior technical counterpart to demanding client Product Owners and Technical PMs. They must be able to defend standard functionality and signed-off designs.
Working Environment and Collaboration
This role requires highly effective cross-border leadership. The Solution Lead will actively lead a team of 5 cross border senior payroll/time consultants. He will collaborate with customer and within Accenture. English communication and stakeholder management are mandatory. French speaking will be very appreciated.
