Are you an Information Security professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, fast paced environment? Would you like to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our firm's information security? We have a great opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to broaden their experience and to make a real impact in a growing, forward-thinking firm.


Responsibilities

* Advising and supporting the firm on all aspects of information security strategy, projects, and initiatives.
* Working closely with key stakeholders to manage information security risks, particularly in areas of innovation and data usage.
* Driving improvements within the Information Security Management System and supporting aspects of our ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus programmes.
* Supporting with the drafting, updating, and embedding of information security policies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ISO27001 requirements.
* Contributing to training and awareness initiatives to strengthen our firm-wide security culture.
* Supporting internal, external, and client security audits, including remediation and risk mitigation actions.
* Assessing supplier and third-party risk through security evaluations and assisting with supplier questionnaires.
* Partnering with the IT team on security technologies and the security impact of system changes and upgrades.
* Participating in incident and breach management, escalation, and reporting, and helping to shape the firm’s Incident Response and BC/DR programmes.
* Staying up to date with emerging security threats and providing insight to continuously improve the firm’s security posture.


Qualifications

* A passion for protecting information within an organisation and you'll be keen to enhance and develop existing controls.
* A good knowledge of information security principles and controls, ideally aligned with frameworks like NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or CE+, but not essential.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or a professional services environment.
* An understanding of technical and organisational security controls, with a good ability to understand, evaluate and mitigate risks.
* Good communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to convey technical issues clearly and confidently to a diverse audience.
* An understanding of risk management within an organisation.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* The ability to work both as part of a team and individually with a flexible "can-do" attitude.
