Operations Delivery Manager
Location: UK-Wide (Ideally based in Northern England)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Mitie is seeking an experienced Operations Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of passive fire protection services across the UK. This is a key role where you'll oversee projects from initial setup through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You'll act as the main point of contact for clients and subcontractors once a site is live, managing all aspects of project delivery. This includes planning, resource coordination, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance. You'll also work closely with internal teams such as estimators and quantity surveyors to manage variations and ensure commercial success.
What are the main responsibilities?
* Oversee multiple passive fire projects from mobilisation to completion
* Ensure all work is delivered in line with scope, specifications, and quality standards
* Manage directly employed staff and subcontractors, including labour, materials, and plant
* Prepare and maintain all Health & Safety documentation (RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, etc.)
* Attend site meetings and represent the company professionally
* Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with a strong background in passive fire protection, particularly with experience in fire doors. You should have at least three years of experience in contract or project management and be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications and experience include:
* Health & Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Experience working with subcontractors and managing commercial agreements
* A valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
