Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
* Ensure all dishes, pots, and pans are washed and stored correctly.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed.
* Help with the organisation of the kitchen by keeping stock levels up to date and reporting any shortages.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist in the disposal of waste in accordance with environmental policies.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
* Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
