Role Description
As a Recovery Case Manager/ Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 daily recovery-focused support for guests in a residential setting. You will be the consistent, supportive figure in their journey to wellness — promoting structure, self-care, and motivation while upholding high standards of professionalism, safety, and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structured daily support to guests based on their individual care and recovery plans.
* Facilitate healthy routines, including wake-up, meal planning, activity schedules, and personal care.
* Support engagement in 12-step meetings and therapeutic sessions.
* Observe and report changes in behaviour, risk, or wellbeing using internal systems (Log My Care & ConnectTeams).
* Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews.
* Oversee medication storage and safety in line with policy.
* Accompany guests to appointments, walks, and external meetings.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment.
* Support with daily living (light cooking, hygiene routines) when needed.
Preferred Requirements
* Experience in addiction recovery, mental health support, or related care field.
* Demonstrated knowledge of 12-step programmes and abstinence-based recovery principles.
* Understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding protocols, and risk escalation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage daily routines, schedules, and record-keeping independently.
* High standards of professionalism, compassion, and personal integrity.
* Comfortable working lone shifts and being the main point of contact in a residential setting.
Education & Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or substantial relevant experience
* Recovery Coaching Certificate or related qualification
* Experience with Log My Care or digital care recording systems
* Lived experience of recovery (if shared appropriately and therapeutically)

Additional Information
* All Support Workers are required to complete mandatory online training (Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Safeguarding, Lone Working, etc.).
* DBS clearance is mandatory (enhanced).
* Flexibility is essential – shifts may include evenings, weekends, or overnights.
* This role involves working in residential environments — accommodation and rest areas are provided for live-in shifts.
