The Role:

As CEO, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* providing inspirational, values‑driven leadership that fosters collaboration and innovation across internal teams
* maintaining a culture that reflects core values and empowers staff to deliver exceptional outcomes
* translating long‑term strategy into annual business plans, ensuring delivery against Board and financial KPIs
* building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, funders, partners and policymakers
* representing the organisation at local, regional and national levels, championing its vision and impact
* identifying and cultivating partnerships that expand reach, enhance services and increase organisational influence
* providing robust financial oversight and risk management across the organisation and its subsidiaries
* overseeing major projects, investments and commercial initiatives
* securing new income streams and developing business opportunities that strengthen long‑term sustainability
* leading the development and delivery of an innovative digital experience for clients, ensuring the organisation remains modern, accessible and competitive
* building positive relationships with Board Directors, ensuring effective governance and a shared commitment to future success
The Candidate
Ideally of graduate standard or higher, preferably from within a business, legal or related discipline, or with a similar professional qualification, candidates for the CEO role will also be able to demonstrate that they have prior experience:
* in a CEO or Managing Director role, within an organisation of a similar size, scale and complexity
* leading and managing property estates and development
* leading successful transformational change in a digital sector related to e-commerce
* working with and reporting to commercial stakeholders including NEDs and subsidiary companies
* creating successful partnerships (financial and non financial)
* creating and delivering successful strategic plans
* creating high performing teams at all, together with the ability to successfully manage operational teams
Candidates for the CEO role should also be:
* a strong and capable leader, who can engage and inspire
* a pro-active, hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional attitude
* financially literate with the ability to translate detailed financial information clearly and concisely
* an excellent communicator, with a strong commitment to success and the ability to motivate and influence at the highest level
